Rules and Regulations of Flamingo

Check-out & Keys

  • The room must be vacated by 10h30 on the day of departure.
  • Housekeeper will do the checklist the minute after departing.
  • The keys are to be collected at the reception of the day of arrival.
  • All keys must be returned to the reception before departure.
  • Keys on the arrival: During normal working hours the keys will be handed over to the guest after payment and administration.
  • Room keys during long stays: Long term stay guests must lock their rooms and keep their set of keys.
  • Lost keys or damaged locks: The cost of a damaged lock or lost keys is applicable, it is R200.

Damages & Responsibility

  • Guest are responsible for all damages to the rooms and this should be reported prior to departure.
  • Pets are not permitted.
  • No washing should be hang or displayed anywhere except designated area.
  • It is not allowed to take any room inventory out of the B&B (pillows, towels, etc).

General Policies

  • Late check-out will be charged R150 per person unless alternative arrangements have been made with the reception the day prior to departure.
  • When you decide to stay consult with the reception first, it is important.
  • Breakfast start at 7h00 to 11h00.
  • Lunch & Supper should be requested in advance.
  • Free WiFi available to all rooms.
  • Smoking is completely forbidden inside the house.
  • Smoking is permitted outside the house, please use ashtrays in the yard & Braai area.
  • Refunds: No refund for early departures. No refund when deposit has been paid or change of minds.

Guestroom Use

  • Please do not use flammables for heating, cooking.
  • Please do not use guestrooms for business activities or any purposes other than accommodation use, without the consent of the B&B owner.
  • All visits by family & friends should be arranged with the management.
  • Visitors are not allowed in the guest room.
  • Maximum occupancy must be adhered to, including children of all ages.

Valuables & Security

  • The management is not responsible for lost items.
  • Please lock the door when you leave.
  • Although Flamingo takes responsibility to ensure the safety and security of our guests & valuables.
